Scholar Number or EMPLID (Employee Id Number) uniquely identifies a person within the organization.[1]

EMPLIDs are used for both students and employees.
Business Rules
IDs beginning with '8' were converted from Banner; PeopleSoft generates IDs beginning with '0'.
