Class Number refers to the unique 5-digit numeric identifier that every class section is assigned by the system that students can use when they register for a class.

Definition Source
"The system creates a unique class number identifier that students can use when they enroll in a class. The class number appears on the Schedule of Classes report. The system increments this number automatically, based on the number that you specify on the Term Value page."[1]
