External Organizations may include high schools, colleges, or universities that CSUMB students have attended.

External Organization may be used in conjunction with External Organization Code to help filter data for students participating in International Programs.
See Last School Attend for the school a student attended most recently before enrolling at CSUMB.
Examples
Examples of External Organizations include:
Hartnell Community College, Alisal High, and even California State University, Monterey Bay (in the case of graduate students that received their bachelor's degree from CSUMB).

"Organizations can include high schools, colleges or universities, community or civic groups, government entities, test and transcript data companies, office supply vendors, and so on. You can create a record for each organization and enter the location of the organization with telephone numbers and electronic addresses."[1]
