The Pell Grant Program is the largest federal grant program for financial assistance at CSUMB. These grants are designed to assist undergraduate students from low-income families to pay for education expenses. In order to be considered for the Pell Grant at CSUMB, students submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), must be working on their first bachelor's degree, and must be admitted to and pursuing an academic program at CSUMB. A Pell Grant can be received from only one college/university per semester. The award is also prorated based on how many units a student is enrolled in. For maximum eligibility, a student should be enrolled in 12 or more units per semester.
