Program Action Reason provides more information about why a particular academic program action was taken or further describes the academic program action.

Business Rules
Program Action Reason is not a required field, so not all academic program actions necessarily have a corresponding program action reason.
Examples
An academic program action of "Plan Change" would include the following program action reasons to further describe the action:
- Add/Change/Drop major
- Add/Change/Drop minor
- Add/Change/Drop concentration
An academic program action of "Leave of Absence" would include the following program action reasons to provide more information about why the action was taken:
- Health Related - self
- Health Related - other
- Personal - Financial Hardship
- Personal - Job Conflict
- Personal - Other
