Weekly Meeting Hours

Weekly Meeting Hours is the total number of meeting hours for a given class calculated by multiplying the meeting hours by the total weekly class meetings throughout the week (e.g. a meeting pattern of "M"=1, "TR"=2, "MWF"=3, etc.)

Business Rules

Classes may have non-standard Meeting Start Dates or Meeting End Dates, which will impact the interpretation of building and facility subtotals of Weekly Meeting Hours.

Examples

  • A class meeting TR with 10:00:00 AM Meeting Start Time and 11:20:00 AM Meeting End Time has Meeting Hours approximated of 1.5 (Weekly Meeting Hours = 3)
  • A class meeting M with 07:00:00 PM Meeting Start Time and 09:50:00 PM Meeting End Time has Meeting Hours approximated of 3 (Weekly Meeting Hours = 3)
