For the purposes of the CSU Graduation Initiative 2025, for example, the achievement gap is the difference in 6-year graduation rates between underrepresented minority students and non-underrepresented minority students and between students that received Pell grants and those that did not receive Pell grants.
At CSUMB, we also report on achievement gaps between female and male students, first generation and non-first generation students, and tri-county vs. other region students.
