CSUMB has six Colleges that oversee CSUMB's academic operations, each with a defined focus area of study. Each college includes several academic units that deliver degrees, minors, and other academic offerings.

"Within the Academic Affairs administrative division, six colleges oversee CSUMB's academic operations. Each college includes several academic units that deliver degrees, minors, and other academic offerings. The university currently offers a total of 24 undergraduate degrees with over 30 included concentrations, more than 30 minors, seven graduate degrees, and several teacher certification options.

The College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences empowers students to critically examine their place in the world: to imagine, to communicate, to collaborate, to create, and to transform. Our graduates are engaged global citizens ready for the realities of the 21st century. The College of Health Sciences & Human Services provides high-quality, innovative academic programs that meet the educational needs of our students, the region, and the state in the fields of education, business, public policy, health, human services, and human performance and wellness.

The College of Science provides a broad-based, integrated approach to the study of science, technology, design and mathematics, and a framework for making informed and ethical choices in the information age.

University College and Graduate studies is a coordinating office for all issues related to undergraduate and graduate studies. Our office mission is to provide support to help students support their academic progress and enable them to fulfill their academic goals."[1]
