Credential Recommendations Count tabulates each recommendation for a credential and is calculated as an unduplicated count of a combination of term, issuance date, credential code, and student number.

The Department of Education & Leadership recommends students who have met all the requirements of a state-approved teacher preparation program and all requirements needed for the credential recommendation to apply to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing to obtain their credential.
