A Term is a portion of an academic year when classes are in session and for which students are admitted, matriculated, enrolled, or graduated. CSUMB is on a semester system. Fall and spring semesters are approximately fifteen weeks long. Shorter winter and summer terms are also available with a narrower set of course offerings.

Terms at CSUMB are denoted as the calendar year followed by:

  • Summer
  • Fall
  • Winter
  • Spring

For example, 2019 Fall.
