Current US Military Dependent Status 2015
Current US Military Dependent Status 2015 is used beginning in Fall 2015 to indicate if an individual is a dependent of a U.S. military service member, including Active Duty, National Guard, Reserves, or a Veteran discharged from military service.
Prior to Fall 2015, "U.S. Military Status" was utilized, which also combined whether an individual is or was in the U.S. military with whether an individual is a dependent of a U.S. active duty service member. Beginning in Fall 2015, the Current US Military Dependent Status 2015 provides the individual's military dependent status according to the type of military service or veteran status and the Current US Military Status 2015 provides the individual's military status.
