Earning Credit Indicator is a yes/no flag on the grade setup which indicates if a grade can be counted toward course and academic advising credit.

This yes/no flag carries down to the student enrollment record.
Examples
A letter grade of "A" will have an earning credit indicator of "Y" (yes), while a letter grade of "F" will have an earning credit indicator of "N" (no).
