Longitude of a campus building is a measurement of the angular distance of the building's location from the prime meridian (i.e. the 0 degree longitude line) expressed in decimal degrees.

A building's longitude combined with latitude enables geovisualization of the building's location on map visualizations of our campus data.
Business Rules
Only buildings on the main campus of Cal State Monterey Bay have latitude and longitude populated. Other locations will not appear on map geovisualizations in Campus Data Warehouse.
