How to Compare Group Results on the CSUMB Experience Study Reports
How can you compare group results on the dashboards?
You can either use the visualization tooltips to compare filtered results with the overall results or you can create two side by side duplicate windows of a report and filter each side to a specific sub-group.
Comparisons for a Filtered Group and Overall Results
For comparisons of a filtered group with the overall results, you can easily see this using the tooltips when hovering over graphical elements on the dashboard.
See Get comparison data in tooltips for filtered results compared with overall (unfiltered) results.
Comparisons for a Filtered Group and Another Filtered Group
Use your browser to open two tabs or windows with the same topical report you want to analyze for the various groups. On many browsers, you can right click on a tab you want to duplicate and select "Duplicate".
Drag and resize your duplicate report windows to position them side by side. You may wish to Zoom in or out of the browser window depending on your screen size and how much of the analyses on the dashboard you want to compare.
From the Filters at the top of the left window dashboard, select a group for the left side comparison and click "Apply" to apply your selections.
From the Filters at the top of the right window dashboard, select a group for the right side comparison and click "Apply" to apply your selections.
Compare your results in the windows. Remember, for more detail, you can hover over graphical elements on the dashboard to display visualization tooltips with additional detail.
