Major at Degree
Major at Degree is available in some retention and graduation reporting to indicate the major a student ultimately graduated and received their degree in. This may differ from a student's major at matriculation, which is used in most retention and graduation tracking and reporting. Major at Degree uses the major long description format.

Note: When using Major at Degree as a group breakdown or filter in the Retention and Graduation dashboards, you should be aware that the cohort term enrollment and retention counts, and retention and graduation rates will all be calculated incorrectly. You should not use these metrics with Major at Degree. However, the Major at Degree group breakdown and filters provide the capacity to see the cumulative graduation counts of students that started in one major and graduated in the same major, in another major, or did not graduate. Students that did not graduate will appear as "Unspecified" in their Major at Degree.
Examples
If a student declared "Biology" as their major in their matriculation term and subsequently changed their major and graduated with a major in "Psychology", the student would appear with "Psychology" as their Major at Degree in Retention and Graduation reporting.
