A First-Time Freshman (FTF) student is a new student seeking a bachelor's degree who has earned college credit not later than the end of the summer immediately following high school graduation or who has not earned any college credit. Students with advanced standing (having earned more than 30 units at matriculation) meeting the above definition are still considered first-time freshmen.
