Term Grade Point Average (GPA) is the average of all of a student's grades achieved during a particular term and is calculated as the sum of all grade points divided by the total amount of units attempted. At CSUMB, GPA is calculated on a 4-point scale.

On the Grades dashboards, Term GPA is a weighted average, which takes into account the size of the grouping being reported on in the totals and subtotals.
